What it does

Shoppers design it. You get the print file.

Set up a product once, and every shopper gets a guided editor and a live preview. Every order comes with a file ready to print.

    Shoppers upload photos, pick a layout and type their own text, one step at a time.

    The preview updates as they go, on the real print area, then a review step before checkout.

    Every order arrives with a CMYK PDF for each print area, sized and placed. Nothing to resize.

How we run it

Built, hosted and supported by us.

Kastomise is made by Hotpot Digital in Brisbane. The full detail is in its privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

  • Where it runs

    Shopper uploads, storage and print rendering run on Amazon Web Services in Sydney. The dashboard, hosted pages and widget are served through Cloudflare.

  • Data we keep, and don’t

    Raw uploads are deleted after a day, and previews and print files after 30 days unless they belong to a paid order or a saved design. We don’t sell personal data.

  • Payments and support

    Card details are held by Stripe, never by us, and Shopify installs pay through Shopify. Support comes from the team that builds it.

Straight answers.

Does Kastomise charge a fee per order?

No. You pay a flat monthly plan, whatever your order volume, and Kastomise takes no cut of your sales.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan has one product config, no time limit and no credit card. Paid plans don’t have a separate trial.

What is a product config?

A config is the template for a product: its print areas, layouts, fonts and shopper options. You can link one config to as many products as you like, and plans count configs, not linked products.

Which stores does it work with?

Shopify, through a theme install or a Hydrogen storefront, and any other store or marketplace through a hosted page, including WooCommerce, Etsy, Wix and BigCommerce.

What currency are the prices in?

Australian dollars when you sign up on kastomise.com and pay by card, or US dollars when you install through the Shopify App Store and pay on your Shopify bill.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Can you set up my products for me?

Yes, as a fixed-price service on top of your plan.
